Ok so I realy don't have enough time to make this manifold at the moment but elite developments hooked me up with this cast manifold all I need to do is make the downpipe now and we are ready to go for mapping!!!

This is completely off the shelf and fits rhd bmws with no modification needed and fits 2.3 2.5 2.8 and 3.0 m3. You can buy the 3" downpipe for £175 but I thought I'm perfectly capable of doing that and shouldn't take me to long , the manifold retails at £675 I believe,

The Tig welding looks good for a first attempt, I'd like to have a go at that myself. always used mig or stick.

Just read your thread good to see someone doing something different I'm interested to see the results of the build. I'm a welder and been using a tig for the last year at work takes some getting the hang of but just seems to click into place after so long, putting too much heat into the material is the main issue. It's going well had it running a couple of months ago sounds awesome! Just ripped it all out again to sort a few little issues hoping to have it back together soon just working on the interior at the minute. What wideband kit are you running Tommy couldn't make it out on the pic? Is it reliable also? Cheers

Wideband kit is just a cheep innovate one , I had a aem one before that but it lasted about 6 months and they wouldn't replace the part that was faulty because a newer version came out and the only option was to get a new one so I thought I migh aswell get a cheep one if the expensive ones are unreliable, this one has been great I've used it more than the aem one and it's much easier to read

I had an innovate lc1 a few years back when I had my Renault 5 it was good then. I've been looking at the PLX one they seem to get good feedback so may try one of them. I just want it there for piece of mind when the superchargers on don't want to be leaning out and melting stuff ;)

Hi Tommy, that engine sounds great, can't see to much of the setup in your pictures. You need to have a word with Gaz, he's looking for more power. Any idea what the output of the engine is yet?
