Went down to see her again today. The front & rear bumpers, new sills and door mirrors are finished and the rest has been primed:

How long does the paintshop estimate it will take to finish the car? Dave. I bet you can't wait to have it back together again and at home.

When I dropped her off I said no rush as I want a good job. They reckon about another week. Could do with a dry day to bring her home again though:whistle:

Dave are you ever going to take it out of the garage?
Jim, of course I will:thumbsup:. I think you knew that already;), having joined you on your cruises. Cars are designed to be driven not stored.

Just a thought Dave ?

Thanks Brian, they have already said the sills and chassis will be thoroughly wax oiled so I hope the area you indicate will be done. I'll mention sealant as well.

So Dave, have you picked the Zed up yet. Bet you wish you had told the paint shop to be quick about it, now.

Come on Dave we want to see the pictures.

All in good time Mike. We're having a bit of a mare of a time with Mum and hospitals at the moment:( so I'm afraid the Zed has had to take a back seat for a while. Had a phone call from the guy doing the spraying asking what black do I want the front kidney grills doing. The options were; gloss, satin or matt. The guys in the spray shop recommended gloss so I've gone with that as I can always change them if I don't like them. Won't be long now...:D
