There were a lot of roadworks on the motorway so we were only doing 70kph for quite some time. I knew it was doing well cause the petrol gauge hardly moved. I was surprised to see 52.3 when we stopped though. I think it's a lot less now after having some fun over the passes. :D

Great day today, Dave was a happy bunny, found it a bit scarey at times. :nailbiting:
I am now cooked nicely, how come it doesn't matter where you plaster the sun cream you always get burnt :p
Trying for a record of top down driving through all the passes so I'll be the lobster in the Zed next time we meet up lol

Another great top down day today from Switzerland to Italy.:thumbsup:Although when it got to 35 degrees in the town with no breeze I did think for a moment to put the roof up and aircon on. Managed to resist, so still have a 100% record of top down whilst this side of the channel. Only 170 miles today but lots of twisty turney stuff. Lost count of the number of hairpins we went round. We went over the Furkapass, Oberalpass, Lukmanierpass, St. Bernadino Pass and finally the Splurgen Pass. The scenery is fantastic, photos don't do it justice. We're here for a week now so some rest days coming up.:D
