What an amazing weekend, great people, great hospitality from @Andy McDonnell and his wonderful wife Yvonne and the driving was to die for, makes the Lincs Wolds seem very mundane indeed. Here's a few pics from me. We covered 620 miles and spent 21.5 hours bonding with the Z, tram lining, what tram lining.
A thoroughly well organised and enjoyable weekend, we can't wait for the next next one and completely agree with a comment that was made yesterday, "should do 3 of these a year Andy"

Can I come next time @Andy McDonnell! Really wanted to come this time but we can't do it all. The roads look fantastic and reading the comments look like you've done a fantastic job of your first cruise. Well done mate, wish we'd been there. We will be there next year!

Just got home via Gretna Green =))

Jill has always wanted to go there and as we were so close we decided we would go home that way. There can't be to many people who would drive to Truro via Gretna Green.

Covered a grand total of 1046 miles since we left home on Friday morning, most of them with the top down but on the way back my head was burning in our summer sun so I put the top up and switched on the air con.

So a really great trip has ended and the Zed is now tucked up in the garage.

Just checked into our digs in Oxenholme, just outside Kendal. We left Truro at 6.30am, didn't stop until we got to Stoke on Trent, Jtn 15/M6 and that was just a quicky for fuel.
Stopped for toilet break at Lancaster and set off again straight away. Noticed another Zed approaching in my mirror and when he pulled alongside saw it was @NODZED.

We drove into Kendal together, parked up and went for a lunch break.

It was a great drive up, nice and comfy, steady speed all the way. I've covered just over 400 miles today so I'm resting now until the meet tomorrow.

There is a nice country pub over the road from our digs and that is as far as I'm venturing today.

Jill worked all night counting the votes at a counting house and got home at 5.20am this morning. She had a quick cupper then plonked herself in the Zed and promptly went into a coma=)) She woke up when I stopped for fuel at Stoke.

See you all tomorrow:thumbsup:
It was great to meet up with you both Gary as I was on my lonesome. Brilliant to have someone to drive the final leg and grab lunch and a natter.
