Pity this clashed with us going away and getting the car sorted. Have done 2 cruises to the Lakes and both were fantastic you are in for a treat. Have a great day Guys n Gals

Looks like it's going to be a brilliant cruise for you guys. The Lakes is one of my favourite areas. It's going to be a blast.
Following on from the biker shouting up at @Paul Rice - I went to pick the eldest up from his digs in Coventry Thursday evening. As I was parked roof down outside in the student area (you know the kind of run down terraced housing etc), and a group of young lads on the street corner corner starts eying up the car and I thinks, this might not end well, when when one shouts up "Z4 - great car. My favourite!". We started chatting about it. Told him we had 2 - "Cool!"

Just got back to our digs and getting ready to go to the pub for the rest of the day. Here's a few pics

It's been a great day out. Massive thanks to @Andy McDonnell for organising a great day, and it was lovely to meet some new friends too. It was a lovely surprise to see Hugh and Sarah @miller1098

Forgot to add, the ride over Hardknott pass was awesome. On the ascent all you could see from the drivers seat was the bonnet of the Zed and the sky. Imagine our surprise when we encountered 4 blokes on push bikes tear arsing down towards us. When we got to the summit and started our descent you have to take your hat off to them for biking up there in the first place.
