Yeah thanks, some minor adjustment required for that but very pleased with the picture. Not keen on the 320d wheels but can't change them as its the company one. Picture had to be done like that as I love my refurbed Z wheels and the ones on the mini.
Same wheels as my 320ED. My Zed's wheel are being done next month, can't wait.:)

Did mine last year, just put a full set of Falken 453's on. 225's front and 245's on the rear just scrubbed them I haven't really had chance to go on a decent run yet

Been quoted £70 a wheel for powder coating. Really good job though, popped round there earlier in the week for a nose, they had a set they'd just done for the Bentley dealership across the road, they were stunning.

Didn't it rain - I know a song about that.

It's a long impressive list of cars though, I don't feel I get enough Z time now. It must be frustrating - which one!

Well............. the 325ci will replace a car i just sold. I'll start driving the ///M as soon as I sell the Z3 and also do the diff bush. I got a good deal on the Toyota pick-up. I was looking for one for MONTHS. I wanted to get a 4 cyl. that was automatic so my wife could drive it in case her car broke down. The prices are crazy on them. I didn't know when i would find one that I liked, but when I did, I had to jump on it or it would be sold. I didn't have time to sell the Ford, but now I can. CAN'T WAIT to fix and insure the ///M so I can drive it. I never really had good looking cars most of my life. Just junkers. Once in a funeral procession, I was so ashamed of my car as it was the oldest car in the procession. A friend of mine, at the church, was passing me as I got out of it and said jokingly, :"Why don't you leave the window open. Maybe someone will throw in a $20 (bill) for you!!!" Frankie

Frankie, I was 50 years old before I got my newest car I've ever owned and that was a 4 year old Audi A4 Estate which I bought from work. All my life I had to buy cheap cars and buy 2nd hand doors etc and paint them and put them on. But they were mine, bought and paid for, and no one could come and take them away. A lot to be said for that mate, just because a house has a flash car on the drive doesn't mean that it's paid for!!

Tony.

I know there was something I liked about you. You're so right. I've always bought all my cars with cash. If I didn't have enough cash, didn't buy it or bought a cheaper car. But I always believed in keeping my eye open for good deals. This often meant getting something good but had something wrong with it that I could fix and that they didn't want to spend the money to fix. Often times, there would be a good used car that needed fixing and the price for the shop to fix it was high due to labor charges. I always loved this because it was a good car otherwise and all i had to do was put my time into it. How many times I've bought a car that other people THOUGHT would cost them an arm and a leg to fix and they didn't even know what was really wrong with it, sometimes something really simple. They'd go out and buy a replacement car and sell the old one at any price just to get rid of it. I bought a car from someone whose father owned the car and passed away. They didn't want it and sold it to me for $200.00. I sold it 3 years later for $100.00 and only had to put a water pump into it. At that time, they bought a new Fiat station wagon, paid a couple of thousand down and paid several thousand over the next 3 years. It happened that we both sold our cars within a week of each other. So the car I bought from them cost me $240.00 and they sent thousands. What a waste for them. Frankie

Have only bought three new cars in all my years. Much prefer the older cars from the 50-60's when cars weren't just rolling plastic. Please PM me the price for the z3 @FRANKIE. JIM

We are the same had so much crap in the past. I even bought a Mazda 626 you opened the rear door and could see the wheel. Took us years to get to where we are now and lots of working hours to build the bank up. When we bought the Z4 we could of bought it cash but decided on a loan, knowing if anything happened we could pay it off at anytime. After 3 years later the car is ours and we still have the money in the bank. So in a way over 3 years we have saved in the bank 12k. We could not of done that if we had used our savings to buy it and then tried to save it. Always something that comes up to bite you.

My wife bought what will hopefully be her last car a little over a year ago. $33,000 but we took a loan as we're covered should anything happen. We're both retired so no jobs to lose!! Sometimes borrowing makes sense with the interest rates in Canada down to 3/4%. And we both have good work pensions and I get Canada Pension and old age security now so things are good. JIM

Jim we will do the same next year when we upgrade to a newer Z4 with what we have in the car when the time comes it will enable us to look at getting one for around 18k. Without losing any money from the Bank. When we bought the X3 we just used some of our savings as it would not of benefited us to take a loan out for it, as we are planning on keeping it for around 4 to 5 years and then there would be no money in it to upgrade.

Most of our stuff is on finance exept the z's and Sarah's outlander,a tractor costs more than 50k it's the only way we can afford it,I can get them on 4 years 0% and usually the repayment stays reasonable and they go against tax.what I owe the bank would refinance Greece debt or seems like it.i always said when I die I want to owe the bank a million doesn't seem a lot now lol.
