Hi Shelley, the 320 is my daily car, 1 series is my wife's car and Zed lives in the garage and only comes out in the dry. :)

Can not beat a family of Bmws, the last year has seen us have a Z3 and Z4 and now we have an X3 and Z4 and next year should again see us with a Z4 and X3 as we will be looking at upgrading to a newer Z4 but will be keeping the X3 as a daily driver

What's the X3 like? Quite fancy it instead of the 1 series. Would never get rid of the 320 as I'm getting 76-78 on the motorway regular:)

Holy crap Batman! Do you have bike pedals in it or what? Didn't know those numbers existed these days! Good for you, I'd keep it also! JIM

It's the efficient dynamics model, BMW state it'll do 80mpg, I've never seen that. If I sit at 70 it'll do 78mpg, 80 and it'll plummet to 76 mpg=))

Brilliant car to drive. We have the 3.0 Auto petrol and its thirstier than the Zeds we have had. We was looking at getting a 1ner but decided on the X3 as you just get everything on them. So far i would recommend them, just watch the right foot or it will only return around 15mpg

May just stick to what I know then BMW's 2 litre diesels are brilliant on fuel and tax, £20 for the 320 and £30 for the 1 series. Happy days.

Depends on what year you are going for the 2.0 diesels do 30 to 40mpg and the newer ones do 40 to 50 mpg

Bloody hell really Bill! You better stay well clear then mate, I'm sure with your steady foot you could get that down to 12! Jue used to have a 4.0 jeep and a 3.2 Isuzu trooper and got 18 from those! I'd leave Kim driving the X3 and you stick to the petal bike!

Yeah thanks, some minor adjustment required for that but very pleased with the picture. Not keen on the 320d wheels but can't change them as its the company one. Picture had to be done like that as I love my refurbed Z wheels and the ones on the mini.
