Well for my twopenneth, I would say Sean is right, but for a different reason.
The one on the right was the more cautious of the pair stopping eating more than the other and watching it's surroundings for possible danger which the male in most species does.
But I had the pleasure of watching them for a while.

Tony.

Ahh a twitcher... well I thought that but from those photos I am finding it hard to see the difference. Hence the question.
I wouldn't describe myself as a twitcher, more a birder and all these long walks tied in with a bit of field craft are giving some results,

I drove a Series 2 Land Rover with manual everything and four gear sticks to on the floor. Never knew I was being healthy.
It was my daily driver to work for 15 years and I sold it not long ago for 300 less then I paid for it.

The Swans are back again and have a very healthy appetite, getting well fed ready for sitting on eggs I think.

And comfortable enough to let me watch them that the Pen sits down to eat.

During this enforced time at home I am try to improve my culinary skills, I have been experimenting cooking with alcohol. I started with beef in red wine sauce which was ok, But when this is all over I am hoping to tempt a young lady with my loin in cider.

Dropped provisions off at my parents this morning and took the opportunity to clean the zed :) due to no one going out and parking spaces becoming extremely rare I have now parked it somewhere in the surrounding streets. I may need my satnav to find it =))
