Having replaced all the suspension and steering I'm guessing my tracking is right out. I did try and set the new tie rods to the same place as the old ones but it all moved around when I bolted it up and the old stuff is long gone now.
Does anyone have a method by eye of setting the tracking so I can get the car to the garage safely for professional setting and MOT? Like wheel bolt upright or tilted in top to bottom 5mm or whatever?
Perhaps I can check the amount of tilt on another car with a plumb line? Or I suppose just the distance between the ball joint centres on another car?
