Temp today where you are

Dont know how hot it was in Gloucester today as was stuck inside an air con room all day
 
But was warm when i left at 4.30pm

Might be raining but hopefully it will cool things down a little.

Been scorching in Lincoln today Look North man said it had 27 at Waddo, I'm sure it was hotter than that. Just taken some pictures of a double rainbow as it was getting dark, weird skies.

The sky was ablaze at sunset - rarely get a whole sky lit like this.

Is this Global Warming or not? Don't ask me , I have no idea.
Last weekend we had torrential rain, low temperatures, I had to put my cardi on.
Now I am sat here, totally naked, sweating my nuts off.
Time for a Skype video link with BMG one thinks.........:D

Skype with BMG????????? What about your pal on the other side of the pond. The last time, it was a 3 way between you, me the guy with the two little yappers. And a certain someone, we won't mention his name, fell asleep on us even while the both of us we screaming 'Wake up, wake up ' in our mics to try to get something out of him but his drinkypoo put him to beddybye and he was toast for the rest of the Skype conversation and beyond till the next morning. Maybe we didn't get the real message: Were we THAT BORING? Time to try it again. Frankie

It was such a beautiful evening over here. We'd just finished about 2 weeks of 90 degree to 100 degree heat with heat index above 100 (it includes the HIGH humidity). So this evening, it was about 82 and felt comfortable with the low humidity. I asked the wife if she wanted to go out to eat and where she wanted to go. The decision was between an Italian restaurant about 2 miles away and a seafood place about 15 miles away. She picked the seafood place which made me extremely happy as I haven't used the Z because of the extreme heat and the air con. isn't working. I'm really looking forward to the drive with the top down on a nice summer's evening. I take off the cover and place it in the trunk (boot) and extricate the antenna and screw it in place. I flip the latches and fold down the top, the wife jumps in and we're ready to go. Turn the key, and the battery's dead!!!!! Maybe something was left on and it drained the battery. I could have jumped it to start it and let the 15 mile run charge the battery. But if the battery is bad, then it won't charge up during the drive and I'll be stuck up in the pinelands 15 miles from home. The smile leaves my face and we replace the cover on the Z and get into the Toyota pick-up. Oh well........................but at least the meal was good. Frankie
 
It was so hot last night I couldn't sleep :p
It's dull here today :(
Hope it picks up by the weekend ;)

Could've done with that in my hotel room last night @Shelly, the aircon packed in at about 3am so I had to resort to standing in a cold shower for 20 minutes at 4 am :arghh: Not sure I've ever been so hot and uncomfortable in my life :cool: :mad:

OMG just goes to show the Brit mentality, if it rains wishes for better weather, if its nice wishes for rain, if its hot wishes for cooler weather, and to top it all off you always get this comment, We could do with some rain we need it:mad: any more and the country will sink.

Too hot to put the top down, are ya mad! slap on the sun cream and hat and feel the burn.

The hotter the better.

We keep sun cream in the cars along with caps if needed. Always ready. ;)
I drove back yesterday with the roof down and A/C blasting out cold air :thumbsup::coolsteer)

Sounds like you didn't turn the shower off. Poor old @Shelly is getting wet :confused:
