Knew exactly where I was. CNI location. Not secret squirrel stuff exactly but rarely publicised and discussed but secure and unremarkable on the outside. Inside was a completely different matter.

Of the similarly important places I've been only one ever stood out on the outside as being important. But as CNI goes it was pretty close to the top of the list of places to protect.
Today was out in the countryside - nice 100m round trip. In the Zed top down and lovely and warm. :)

Mate of mine was carrying out a Fire Safety Inspection on behalf of the Chief Fire & Rescue Advisor to HMG at GCHQ, once in the inner sanctum the spook said "right, we're going dark". My mate said "but I won't be able to see". The somewhat frank retort was "no you t***, we're all locked down and secure!" Taxi =))
