Struggling to keep warm (life in the colonies)........

Maybe we can get Tony to fly over early and meet us in St. Petersburg, Fl.

Wow, that's a little out of the way mate. I could find my way to I95 via I4 but that's about it. St. Pete's is only 1 hr away from our place, unfortunately I'm a 9 hr flight and 6 weeks away from that. I WISH.

Tony.

For 1 hour away, we could have swung down there for a drink.
..............Haven't heard from Hugh in a while. Must be talking to the wife.............

Your probably right Sarah would understand ,but do I want to put her through more stuff it's easy for me to play the C card but I'm nothing without my support.Im already book to go to France in May and off to see Zeti in Romania in September just come back from Iceland,it's lambing time and I've got the builders in...thats my head talking

Hugh, you know that "good things come in 3's"; US trip will be the 3rd, so go for it!
I got the green light for the trip (from home!), but as I have to take VISA for US (!), (not the card , but the stamp on the pass;)), I imagine myself in front of the US embassy employee asking: "What's the purpose of the visit?"
And me answering : "Helping Frankie to bring the Red M Zed home!"
I expect that I will have to wait for the visa 30 days :arghh: and a psychiatric consult will be required , as an attach to the document......=))=))=))

Wood Burners are more of a fashion statment over here, We mainly just pillage the natural resources of the world to keep warm:whistle: People over here live in a push button world for everything.

We use one all the time during the winter months, they are great when we have power cuts as we get heat and can cook off the top of them! Late november our oil fired boiler broke, took a couple of weeks to sort out a replacement in which time the fire was the only source of heat, thank good ness we had it.

Great vid Frankie, the log splitter looks great, I currently only use an axe but it is hard graft ;)

Thank you for bringing us back on topic, Brian!:)

Good god, I know none of these people and I'm rooting for the trip to go ahead.

I can see 500 miles/day, daily video diaries being uploaded onto this site and us all taking part in it.

TBH Zeti, I read the first few posts and answered from there, now just read it all. Holy cow Hugh, go for it, don't worry about bl@@dy logs, sooooo envious :meh:

Lexy, have you watched all the video Frankie uploaded to YouTube after his visit here last June ? I can send you some links if you would like to watch them. Sad I know, but I have them in my favourites to have a look at now and again.:)

Tony.

ps. You can also put some names to faces if you look back through the many photo's on here too.

Hi Tony, yes please pm them over.

I'm worried if they do record the journey and post the videos up, not for the content you understand, but for the wasted work I'm putting in to my 2.8, I'll end up buying an M because of it !

That's what happened to me. I come over there, the forum guys drive me around in their M's ( Miller 1098, Board, etc..) and I get hooked. But GOOD, no going back!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it was a conspiracy???? Frankie
