Pagid rear discs ordered today with matching Red Stuff pads after an advise from the MoT.

Also gave the front end a bit of TLC after some angry bird action!

Thanks mate, don't tempt me! I'm trying not to spend any more money on the old Zed! But I just love her too much!

Little treat that has been sitting on my dining room table for months, installed during Liverpool v Man City half time break.

Oh balls!

Temporary fix didn't solve the problem, familiar creaking noise and about 10 miles later a huge BANG! Diff ear snapped.

Long story short, new OEM BMW re-inforced replacement part.

Foolishly last year I just had the repair many other forum users had, had on their cars, the 'L' shaped spot welds, I wish I had scraped for another hour and revealed the full extend of the damage!

Well I've been without the car for over a week, but my Saxo VTR track car is now road legal and in 'testing' for Lydden Hill in 2 weeks so it's not all bad news!

A few snaps, pops and holes!

Car is back from garage but I haven't had time to pick her up yet.

My PE Teacher!
Never saw him with a bat or a ball, round one that is. (thank god he did not have the bat)
He used to kick the living day lights out of us, especially during rugby.

This was his background......

More British soldiers were killed during the "Cyprus emergency" in the 1950s than have died in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Elephants and Monkeys
From the beginning of 1955 to the end of 1959,the British in Cyprus fought against a master of guerrilla warfare- Colonel George Grivas. His E.O.K.A. Organisation had only 300 full-time activists, but they were superbly drilled in the arts of sabotage ambush and execution. Against them, the British Forces - 37,000 at their peak - were, as Grivas said, like elephants chasing monkeys.
The British used heavy armoured cars, kept to the roads and avoided moving by night. Grivas’s men were always on the move, depending on speed, secrecy and surprise.

That looks awesome! Works really well, much better than the black wheels.

Will have to pinch this one to put on the Zorg Facebook page cover for the next week ;)
