Is the car staying in the UK?

Word of warning about the TT's.
My brother has had two rag tops from new and will not go near them again.
He likes his cars and does not mind the odd problem (he bought a Lotus Evora after the Audi experience!!)
He thought he just had bad luck with the first one that started to do weird and wonderful expensive things after three years of ownership (just outside the warranty with his mileage) so he took it back to Audi and bought another one, and guess what?
Just saying, that's all.
In Dutch they say "een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee"

Certain criteria a zed just can't meet, good fuel economy and 4 seats.

Looking (so far) at TT tdi and mini clubman S D

Driving both next weekend I hope
Hey Andy, I was meaning the Dutch quotation from HT ie What does that mean. Congrats on getting your car sold at last too.

Sorry, just re-read and my reply probably came out wrong!

In some ways I'm delighted to have sold my coupe

In so many ways I'm gutted.

I can't decide between £12-15k on a TT or clubman SD or £7-9k on a 1 series (123d maybe) or Leon FR

I've not driven any of them so will bide my time for now

When you look back at nearly 5 years ago and realise you lied to yourself so badly about the next car!

Just had a look at your list of possible coupe replacements cant say that I see a Renault on the list.
Maybe as a 5 yr treat flog the Renault and either get one of the cars off your list or as @Jjim said maybe another coupe .
