Archived Spitfires, Merlins and Motors 5th August

Hi Guy's,

I've phoned the pub and they will open the doors for us to get a drink or food. The only issue is they stop serving at 9:30 so if you want to grab something before heading off to the show can I suggest you get there a bit earlier. I intend to arrive at the pub about 8:30 and fill up on some good old bacon and eggs.

Mark has suggested that he will be at the pub circa 10:15 so if you want to eat, or just travel down to the show in convoy, can I suggest you get there either in time to eat or to leave at 10:15

As for the parking at Duxford. It's the same as last May so when you get to gate 1 you should be given a map of where to park.

Also, the table is booked for 6:00pm. If you think that is a bit late let me know and I'll see if I can change it!

If I don't see you at the pub then I'll see you at the show

I wouldn't worry about a gazebo we can shelter under the protective barrier Mark will have around his Zed after all the polishing his done with the new DA :x

Well, the car is now clean after waiting two hours for the rain to stop. I had all the gear out and just manged to get the wheels done when the heavens opened so sat around at work and watched the wedding party run from building to building. Luckily the Sun came out later on so I was happy and so was the wedding party. Spent the rest of the afternoon writing my final report for my Mphil, why I ever agreed to do one is beyond me :-B
