Ok Guy's and Girls,

I managed to contact Duxford today, poor girl has been off sick, and it's a big thumbs up for Sunday. We need to be there circa 9:00am, arriving at Gate 1 which is past the main entrance heading up to Royston on the A505, the entrance should be sign posted with yellow (what's this thing with yellow) signs saying Car Club. If we're all meeting up in Duxford village first it looks like we'll have ourselves another convoy (play music). I Called the John Barleycorn pub and explained whats happening on Sunday but I need to call to speak to the Manager on Saturday to see if their open up early for us to get something to eat, or even a coffee. We also need to book the meal as early as possible for Sunday night as it's quite popular and it gets full pretty quickly so if I know the numbers ASAP we may be in luck for the evening meal at least. I can see at least 5 of us are up for the meal already izza)

Anyway, if you can get back to me regarding the meal ,and if your turning up at the Pub on Sunday morning, I don't mind arranging it. Then going on what's happening we can then decide what time we all meet, how's that?

Update, so we don't loose the chance of a table I've booked one for 15 but explained that this may go up or down a few, so if any of the gang are certain they won't be eating please let me know ASAP as it's only fare I let the Pub know

You must have been dreaming about your marigolds last time, Mark, cos you and Liam managed to get to the pub before us, so one of you two must have known where it was?!!! Don't you remember telling us which guy you thought Duncan was!! He was sitting eating full English at about 8.30 Bazza, so they must cater for early risers as Duncan didn't actually stay there, he just didn't think the place he was staying at looked very savoury, hygiene wise.

Do you need us to say that we would like to eat, not sure if after mentioning about needing to book because of the last fiasco, that we were part of those you were talking about.

Yes, Snoops, it is a chocolate box picture pub, like stepping back in time, when you go inside with memorabelia on the walls because some of the Fighter Aces used to hang out there during the war, they have named the rooms after them. It is a real Christmas, warm, kind of pub. :-bd You would love it! are you sure you can't make it!!! need a bit of a early start though!!

I will assume you are eating Sunday night as you did mention it As for meeting Sunday morning, I need to know the rough numbers and Phone to see if they will let us in that early (what ever time we decide to meet). Agree, they are cooking that early but it's only for people who are staying there so I need to talk to the manager and see if he can cope with a few more and let us in, well that was what I was told when I phoned earlier tonight
