who's interested?
Date Sunday 25th October (you will be able to get lunch at the venue) (if you intend two bring along a friend / partner please let me know).

RIGHT PLAN B WE HAVE A RUN New Forest Winter Run

It should take about 1-1/4 hour so just a short one please view attachment for route
we will end up at the Walhampton Arms pub for lunch.
Meet 10ish West Wellow McDonald's services leave 11 arrive pub at 12-15
great carvery and food

start McDonald's SO51 6GF

Take A36 towards Salisbury for 4 miles (Beware Speed camera’s)

Turn left after Landford Service Station (on your left) SP5 2AZ onto New Road continue for 1,2 miles

Cross B3079 onto Forest Road then Cross B3078 still Forest Road at Junction veer Right to Stoney Cross (still Forest road) after 2 miles turn right (just after lay by on the left) to Linwood

After 2.7 miles At T junction turn Left and pass under the A31 to Bolderwood

After 1.5 miles take right hand fork into

Bolderwood Arboretum Ornamental Drive SO43 7GE

After 2.5 miles cross A35 into Rhinefield Ornamental Drive

Continue Rhinefield Road after 4.2 miles pass Forest Park Hotel on your right turn next left into Meerut Road SO42 by a little brick built Post Box on your left hand side at the junction.

Continue to T junction turn left A337

After 0.2 miles turn right B3055

After 4.2 miles turn right onto B3054 (by Pond on your right hand side)

After 4.2 miles the Walhampton Arms Pub on your left hand side.
SO41 5RE

We tried to book a hotel or B & B for Sunday night but all in the forest are booked must be because it’s half term. Two pubs in Lymington have vacancies but are very rowdy ok for me but er in doors won’t like that. Ended up booking The Tyrrells Hotel in Christchurch Avon looks like a nice place and a good run from Lymington along country roads.

Looks like a nice place and a good country road run through the forest.

Hi All

I tried to book a table for Four for Allwyn and myself, but they didn't have anything available until after 3pm..
We still intend to meet up with everyone at McDonalds, do the run to Lymington and then we will have to find somewhere else for lunch. Need to give the car a clean on Saturday. Fingers crossed for the weather on Sunday.
If anyone fancies an Isle of Wight run in 2016, I might be able to get a group rate as I am Head of Ferry Ops and my friend Allwyn is one of the ferry Captains at Red Funnel. Might be worth thinking about?? See you on Sunday Alwyn (yes - it's confusing - I'm "Alwyn" and my friend is "Allwyn". What's the chances - and we both have Zeds!

Definately up for Isle of Wight run. Good plan

OK peeps as the pub will be really busy on Sunday (car parking?) the first lot 7 cars will set of at 10.30 the 2nd lot will leave soon afterwards, so please be at West Wellow no later than 10 and remember the clocks go back this weekend.
