@Fred Halsey Mention you are with the BMW group too when calling. They are very helpful.

I will be leaving Sainsburys Car Park Badger Farm on the south west of Winchester at 09:30am to run through the countryside. Its a nice run aiming to be at the services just before 10am. Its nicer than running all the way around the M3 /M27

@Bazza Did the first bit and the route is fine. As would be expected. Even if we come across any issues its easy enough to get around the back roads.

What time are you getting to the start point ? Meeting in the lorry park area again I hope ?

Paul should be there about 9.45 meeting Simon at Burley services:) then a quick blast down the A31 to West Wellow:coolsteer)

@Bazza, @pgunter, Sorry Gents, I will be unable to make it this weekend. I will eventually get to meet you all, possibly Devon next year. Hope it goes well.
Cheers,
Jonno

I will see you all Sunday morning, but it is definitely the E30 this time.

Winter check 2.webp

@mwpe You never mentioned you were a male stripper... watch it @BMBabe will be getting you to do it for her next too.. on Panther that is.

I am looking at getting the sills off my little Ebbee very soon to see what is hiding under the skin and also to get the sills repaired.

OK boys & girls just to let you know I did a dry run today:whistle:, and I have removed the link to google maps as it was not quite right opp's:( I have now updated original directions just slightly, I will print a route for every one and bring them on Sunday:thumbsup: (oh by the way not a totally dry run had a pint in the pub)=))=))

@Bazza Which bit did you not get right.. It all worked to Brockenhurst..

Just a couple of junctions pre passing under the A31 must have been a senior moment I did not put them down on directions:(

Haha, I have been over that area so often its second nature and auto pilot for me. Hence the extended route on the New Forest run. Which I will be doing again, the same route around April / May next year. As everybody seemed to like the run. So the shortened one for this Sunday is great too.

Meeting in the lorry parking area again I take it ?

Yes the lorry park is fine, the pub have told me they have a heavily booked Sunday so it might be wise to get there a little bit early, it may be that we will have to leave at 10.30 to secure our car parking space's what do you think:whistle:

I decided that it was time to check under the sills and at the same time get the gravel rash on the front bumper and back wings resprayed.:):)

Paul I have an idea about a run out towards Abbotsbury and Chesil Beach area? summer 2016

Hi All

I tried to book a table for Four for Allwyn and myself, but they didn't have anything available until after 3pm..
We still intend to meet up with everyone at McDonalds, do the run to Lymington and then we will have to find somewhere else for lunch. Need to give the car a clean on Saturday. Fingers crossed for the weather on Sunday.
If anyone fancies an Isle of Wight run in 2016, I might be able to get a group rate as I am Head of Ferry Ops and my friend Allwyn is one of the ferry Captains at Red Funnel. Might be worth thinking about?? See you on Sunday Alwyn (yes - it's confusing - I'm "Alwyn" and my friend is "Allwyn". What's the chances - and we both have Zeds!

Definitely up for that - a weekend (or more) in the IOW. Brilliant. Depending on dates of course.

Have a table booked for 12:30 at the Walhampton Arms

Thanks for the offer of meeting at Sainsburys Car Park Badger Farm. As i have to use the Essex part of the M25 and the Q E Bridge which is a nightmare no matter what time or day meeting time may be a problem for me. So best I see you at West Wellow McDonald's services.

Ok folks.. this is getting to be a very good thread.

@Fred Halsey Looking forward to seeing you if you get through the M25 in one piece.

@Bazza .. How about sorting out some good runs for next year over a discussion on Sunday. IOW sounds like a great idea. How many to take over a ferry.. hahaha

@Hopalong64 as above, we can have a good discussion about it. You might find though that we would cause a traffic jam on some of those roads.. yea.. what the hell, bring it on.
