Sorry for the delay in replying. Just got back from taking my daughter to her orchestra practice, which involves a 60 mile round trip and then sitting in an Internet dead zone in a school car park in the wild back end of nowhere for 2 miserable hours :-q

Swamps, do you have just the one computer/laptop/whatever on your home connection. Just wondering if you have something else you can try on your connection to prove/disprove it being something on your machine at fault?

Chrome in my opinion is the best browser out there at the moment Mike. My previous preference was for Firefox, but it's not as quick in comparison.

Looking at the site stats it's still the most common browser used to access this site, but Chrome is starting to catch it up. I'm using Chrome on my ipad to access the forum in preference to Tapatalk which I'm starting to find incredibly annoying...

I was puzzled that you should choose to use a 3rd party browser when Safari is pre-installed in the iPad
There are also various rumours about the extent and targeted nature of the cookie tracking which Chrome uses :-?
