Oh I just knew you people were nurturers. Just make sure the chains and thongs are strong, I'm little but put a Guiness in front of me and look the h ll out!! I've been know to fight off Great Danes for the widget in an empty can after a night of sleep??

It has to be said it has gone really quiet since the club took over the organisation... I really don't know what's going on to be honest with regards to the event/weekend in general!
 
We are going Saturday and Sunday. Hoping to drive down to HI to meet up with other members on Saturday morning for the drive into Silverstone, but will be staying overnight at the Novotel in MK on Saturday night. Looking forward to meeting the real people behind the names.
 
Which Holiday Inn are people staying at. Confused there are several to chose. Im going to do Saturday at the show and Friday night at the hotel..
 
I understand that the tickets have started to be sent out, so not long to go now!!. And so we are there nice and early for the Friday i just booked the Hotel for the Thursday night as well.

You say that, BUT.......

Today I've been to Donington Park on a Track Day with my son. I feel very second rate after that. I wasn't the slowest, but NO WHERE NEAR the quickest. Goodness there were some very quick cars and drivers. Mainly fully track prepared or full fledged race prep'd. Radicals Porsches Caterhams, Ariel Atoms etc., etc..

This fella was in the next door garage.

Very, very nice!!!

He picked it up yesterday at Goodwood Festival of Speed so I was told. Today he was being coached by an instructor. Held him off for three laps, but he eventually left me behind on the main straight.

So after today I consider myself a loiterer!... I might not even be considered quick enough to be thought of as loitering by some of the guys today! That Radical... Hats off!! Wowzer!!

Arriving Friday evening at holiday inn for Saturday,
I put down ///m parking, I hope I'm not all alone with M3's :(
 
I'm not going to be able to make it now. Means I have spare tickets (including display) if anyone is interested. Would need to check and see if they are transferable first though ;)
 
Tickets are ok, but the display probably not. If you go in at a busy time they'll probably let you through rather than argue though!

It was ok last year, were quite a few tickets changing hands at the last minute. I got the reg numbers changed on my tickets on the Saturday morning last year as I'd changed cars. They are quite good despite appearing to be a shambles... ;)

Anyways, the offer is there if anyone wants to look in to it.

im giving it a miss this year, the organisation for the parking and separation by forums spoilt it for me last year.

Its nice to have a break and do other things.
