Crikey they are expensive.....£148 for all 4 corners .
They arent cheap, but worth it IMO.

You could also upgrade the fronts to 300mm from the 3.0 if you haven't already

I believe you, @t-tony has them on his 3.0 Z4 and they work very well .
When I replaced the discs I went for the standard size but drilled and grooved.

Mine aren't yellow stuff Steve, but they are EBC. In fact they're EBC Ultimax pads, they work very well but hard road use is not quite the same as track work (abuse);).

But, they do bite well as you know. Maybe worth a try as a compromise for the next track day Steve.

Really glad you all had a great day, but especially for @BMBabe with snow threatening again, Stacey no doubt had some sleepless nights, i know how much today being a success mattered for you. You came good Gal, well done. Hopefully be there next time.

No, not at all Steve, (hang on)

Rears £27.01
Fronts £32.50

Just shy of £60 + £4.00 P&P all in.

Tony.

ps. I would give serious thought to adding braided hoses too mate. It's an easy job. Circa £80.00.

To be fair though on track there could be a big difference to the Yellow Stuff pads mate, not having done a track day I can't compare. I'm confident they'll be better than standard road pads at the very least. I do give mine a fair workout but that's not for a big mileage.

Tony.

ps. Braided hoses are a no brainer to me.

I was there for the Pistonheads meet with my 996.
Couldn’t hang about to watch the Z track session, but they looks great lined up.
Glad nobody caused themselves any damage. As an unfortunate chap in a Clio hit the pit wall mid morning. Minimal damage and he was fine, but the conditions were tricky.

I can confirm on track the yellow stuff pads make a real difference. You really can lean on them a lot harder and they stay very sharp even when hot. Most of you saw the rate I was going at and the brakes never let me down. Also the tyres were amazing, so much wet grip. Pilot sport 4’s.
