Finally managed to get it sorted.
Tried applying heat to the stubs, got em glowing, but still didn't budge.
In the end I cut the stubs off and then drilled the old bolts out. Sounds easy, but you have to be careful! A pilot drill broke off in one of the bolts leaving me with a bit of a headache.

I ended up using diamond tipped 6mm hole saws to cut around the threads. They don't last long, and I used 30 of them to get the bolt out.
Because I had to drill the threads out, I've had to install some helicoils to get the threads back to the 6mm standard.
Everything is now back together, but the engine temp is running a bit hot and the heater is cold. Tomorrow I'll try raising the front and bleeding the system a bit more.
Amazingly, once it was all back together, it started first time! It was September when it was stated last!
