We also saw this old WW2 plane coming in to land. Oddly, we saw the same one last year as we collected all the signs from the Spet. Cruise on the Sunday evening. At around 30 secs. into the video.

Towards the end there's a nice stretch of tree lined road, enjoy it because you'll not see it on the day. We should've turned off right at 1.48 in the video:thumbsup:

I was looking out for the lay-by where I first met @andyglym Andy but I think that's a differant road. Thank goodness @Toby Toby brought up the rear as I've never learnt my way around any of your routes, think I'm in the same league as you know who.=))

Once we get the route sorted we're on the way to looking for Group leaders again. I know some of the guys mentioned that they may like a break this year which is fair enough. I will be leading one of the groups, not worried which one, if we need to change things around that's fine.
Volunteer group leaders get to come for a pre event cruise recce and a BBQ at the Shed to say thanks.

I'm adding choices for lunch at the White Swan here, usual great Sunday lunch fare. So please have a think and let me know what you would like.

1. Steak Pot Pie and Chips.
2. Fish and Chips.
3. Scampi and Chips
4. Sunday Roast lunch, a) Beef, b) Pork, c) Turkey or d) Gammon.

The previous evening will again see the Pub's fund raiser for various Charities so anyone staying locally will be welcome to come and see the free live music.

Once again Shirl will be making some sweet treats for us all to enjoy after lunch before we all go our separate ways.

2x steak pots please Tony, as discussed I am this year taking a retirement pill from leading and getting us all lost. I'm sure I'll be back on it next year if you do the event again. ;)
