For Sale SEAT LIFT MOD

I have one set of the seat lift mod left and shan't be making any more for a few of months... Anyone wanting this set, PM me asap £36 incl postage to UK / Eu.
Many Z3 members have fitted this mod - it is designed specifically for the Z3 and when fitted will be as safe as the OEM seat fitment.. It raises the front of the seat mounting so that it reduces the tendency to slide forward on the leather seats under braking and normal driving... also, if you're taller than average, it'll provide a little bit more leg room.
Comes with fitting instructions and takes about 10 minutes to fit. No special tools and you don't need to remove the seat or disconnect the battery..

The engineering works guy had a small accident and has been out of operation for 3 months. Got his fingers in one of his machines.

Yep.... He had leather gloves on, but somehow it was the glove which got caught and he couldn't get his hand out the glove before the damage happened.

Common injury when using machinery

might be worth getting him some of these. the fingers come off when they get caught, saving the hand

Here you go....
The effective lift is 14mm.
The primary difference between my mods and "others" is the safety factor. These are designed for the Z3 seat. As you can see, there is a "nipple" on one face and a recess on the opposite side. The recess side fits upwards under the seat rail and locks onto a nipple in the rail. The nipple side locks into a recess in the car floor which normally accommodates the rail nipple. This means that all parts lock into each other when bolted down. The two bolts you can see screw onto the floor studs.
