Keeping my eye on storm Ali (interesting choice of name that!!) folks, if it doesn't subside by Thursday night I'll probably pull out of the cruise, roof up zedding is one thing but 60 to 70 mph winds and torrential rain is a totally different proposal.

Ali has already visited savage gusts of wind and torrential rain morning into afternoon definitely not a zedding day today.
Although back of 5 now calmed down loads bit blowtorch but bit of blue sky and sunny intervals not rained for last hour and half or so

2 scenario for sun at the moment bbc not committed either similar to sat ( good for us ) or wet not so good but need to wait another day or so for a firmer Sunday forecast

I drove past you one day in Ayr but I wasn't in the zed need to say hi at some point as you are the nearest member to me being only 10 mile away
