Hi everyone.
This is the dates for the 2018 Scottish run
22nd / 23rd September 2018.
This years run will be the Highlands Inverness-shire / Perthshire) the final route to be confirmed. Details to follow .
This years run is a joint collaboration with myself @Redsheep @Sully
The next 2 post are reserved for adding the route maps hotels etc which i will get put up as it's finalised any questions jusk ask happy to help.
As the route start is a bit further north this year i will more than likely organise a mini cruise up to the start from Glasgow area i think heading up through loch lomond and the trossachs national park .

As Steve has said, we are combining a great part of Scotland in 2018.

Day 1 includes -

The 2 highest roads in Britain- Glenshee (Cairnwell Pass) and the Lecht.
Run past Balmoral castle and through Breamar, then on past Corgarf Castle
Inverness, Urquhart Castle and the length of Loch Ness
Spean bridge WW2 commando monument
Then back from Aberdeenshire into beautiful Perthshire for day 2

This is pretty much day 1 & 3 of the run me and Lowrider did this year when we left you guys, I have the satnav route if you want to use it as a starting point.

I am definitely up for this one, I've never been on one of these so any help with organizing hotels etc, so that I don't end up in some deadbeat B&B 50 miles from everyone else. I may be open to opening up the spare seat if someone perhaps two family members or you can't decide between the wife or the mistress I'll help you out only kidding, I'm in Glasgow so could collect from the station or airport, and just split fuel costs (a bit of help for my modest pension)

Don’t worry John, there will be plenty room.

We are currently trimming down day one, as it is currently 6 hours driving which is a touch too much (excuse me AC/DC).

That colour so suits that car mate, I wish I could've found a yellow one to the spec I wanted but after months of overpriced, high milers or in my price range I couldn't find one or wait any longer so I had to decide between a lower spec'd yellow one or a high spec one in silver (still paid more than I had budgeted) I chose the latter, After seeing the results of Gaz's wrap that's on the agenda for spring of 2019

Mine fell into my lap when i wasn't even looking for one fell in love so bought it.
Mine is a dakar individual model
Customer specced car rather than factory issued vehicle.
