Event Scottish run 2020. 19th 20th September.

UPDATE MAY 20.

Hi everyone latest update 2 months on from the last one and not a lot has changed but there's a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

I'm still on the same agenda and hoping to be able to ( in some sort of socially distanced manner ) have a Scottish run of some sort or other still have the same view of a final decision wont need to be taken until August.
By that time I will have a better idea of what will be open and what official rules are in place.

What i would say to those currently attending if you feel ( for whatever reason) that you will not be attending if you could drop me a pm to let me know just so I can keep on top of everything .

I see the Pitlochry Hydro, where we were 2 years ago has gone Into admin today.

Can you put me and Ali down please. We wasn't going to do this long drive again this year but now its looking very inviting. :thumbsup:
 
UPDATE JULY 3rd.

A piece of positive news for once :rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I have had a phone call from the hotel yesterday and basically they said subject to no reversal of the current plans for lockdown exit they will be re opening on August 1st :):).
And will still be able to do our bookings :D:D:D.

All I need now is all the other places around the 2 day route to open then I'm properly back in business :rolleyes::rolleyes:
But starting to look a bit more optimistic that this run may be able to go ahead :nailbiting:.

Just a little footnote to all signed up to attend can you please get in touch if you feel that you will be unable to attend as I will have to finalise numbers in mid August

My current thinking is that Day 1 is probably scrap .
I have made a start on a new route as I am thinking the ferry crossing is the current issue as Calmac are not taking advance bookings at the moment and still have the essential travel only guidance up the last time I looked. ( although haven't gave up on it totally)
Day 2 should be fine as long as stopping places are open going to try get up beginning of August to re run the weekend check out facilities and procedures in place ( see if any pre booking is required) for anything.

Yep we have booked a cottage on Skye for the rest of the week so this will be our annual hooning holiday ;);)
