Never used a budget airline before but being the only one servicing my destination, booked them.

Pair of return tickets, reserved seats + 1 x 15KG Luggage = £ 141.-- Cool

However, i have the need to change the name on the second/passenger ticket.
Just been on line to do this, just before i confirmed the change name button i noticed a
£ 110 charge for name change. o_O

Tips please.

Do i hold hours and talk to them ? Book another ticket (Keeping the other for the reserved seat) ?

Cheers Team

All the budget airlines are the same, they'll cash in on anyone needing to make changes. Might be worth rebooking, check the cancellation terms, last one I cancelled I got the tax/air duty back, about £20

Was that £140 each or for two tickets. If it's for two then it Looks like it's cheaper to write off that ticket and rebook.
I can understand they charge to make a change but that's way out of all proportion to the cost of doing it. They deserve to have one bum less sat on their seats. If they need the seat they can buy it back from you.

Looks like you f***ed up N4LLY if you don't even know which bird is going with you?
Just cancel the ticket and get one when you are out there.....;)

Ryanair are so 'efficient' now that they have no little net on the seat in front you to put your phone and stuff. Don't know where the barf bags go now../

I don't know why they bother having 2 engines when one will do.

There is efficiency then there is just plain mean.
Easyjet are getting alsmost as bad with seats that don't recline, at least they have a little net and barf bag.

I think the reason of this huge tax is to avoid that people buy early tickets when is really cheap (few pounds) and resell it (for profit, on the black market) few days/ hours before the flight , when they are at the same price (or higher) with the line tickets.

Think I'd be cancelling, taking the hit, and starting again if it's cost effective mate.

That makes sense.

I used to use them years ago when I was into fishing in Spain, I used to go 3-4 times a year and normally used to pay £30 return even took the wife for her 21st :D

We have flown with Ryanair around 6 times we are flying out with them again in just over 5 weeks and to be honest we have never had any problems with them. They have been the cheapest for all the flights we have booked, but as normal don't buy cheap and expect the best.
I would also see if you can get the flight cheaper and if so cancel the last flight and take the hit.

Paddy McGinty's Airlines :D

We're never flown with Ryanair :p
I'd phone them and see what they say ;)
You could play dumb and say it was a mistake :)
If not just rebook :)
It's cheap enough ;)

Smooth operator =))

So you should be Ryanair fan for life!
The stewardess came over and gave us a half bottle of bubbly, very nice gesture we thought until we started to depart and she gave me the bill for it
