Archived Rutland Water Meet - saturday 28th April

Hi Guys!!

It's time to arrange the Rutland Water Meet!!
Some of you may remember last year - we had a great day in Rutland where we met for coffee and went for a 60mile drive

This year will be the same as before. We will meet in the morning for coffee and a catch up at Normanton Park Hotel then after lunch we will have a nice run out for approx 60 miles taking in some country roads around the local area, after which we will arrive back at Normaton Park hotel. http://www.normantonpark.co.uk/

Lunch - I will ask everyone to bring a packed lunch, we can walk to the Rutland Water church where we can eat and enjoy the views

Meeting time: 10-10.30am

has this been going for some years as a regular meet? The reason I ask, quite a few years ago we happened to be passing through Oakham on the way to the A1 and suddenly there seemed to be a lot of Zeds about, one black M (i think it was black from memory) followed us for a short while and then turned back after a while so may have confused a few as we were going somewhere else

I'm from around that area so know it quite well, shame we won't be there as would love to join you all!

James last year was the first Rutland Water meet i arranged.. im not sure if any had been done before?

I know Gary joined us last year and i hope he can make it again this year!?

The drive will take longer than an hour..
I may arrange a stop within the drive but it's yet to be arranged fully

We'll be there, it's Sandy's birthday and our 31st Wedding Anniversary the following week on the 29th. :ympeace:

Liam, we have no plans for Sunday 29th, so would be fine, if a Sunday is better. Can't think of a better crowd to celebrate with anyway :martini
