Frankie what have you done to miller1098
He had gotten very sunburnt going through Arizona and New Mexico. We wanted to keep the top down while driving so he had just applied sun screen and was saying something as I took the picture. Looks really funny. It was just perfect timing. We really both started to suffer between the sun burn and the wind burn. I could really appreciate the need for a wind deflector behind us. When you're doing over 100 mph for hours at a time, the wind gets wicked!!! Soon we had to keep the top up for another reason. The farther north and east we traveled, the colder it got. You can take it for a while, but not for hours and hours on end. And the more I think about the trip and the nice time we had, I begin to miss Hugh more and more. Must be time for another trip. I'm hoping I can get down to Florida with the ///M to see
@t-tony. The wife is going to the Philippines and I'm staying home to take care of the dogs and cat. I don't know how the timing is going to work out between her vacation and when Tony will be in Florida. I can drive it in 24 hours but its a grind and I'm not as young as I used to be. Another thing is that when you make a drive like that, you're really shot for a day or two. Perhaps I'll just do it in 2 days and take my time. Before I was on vacation from work and had time limitations. Perhaps I should drive down with a friend or another forum member. Any one up for it?????

- If I could only drive as fast as @miller1098 and I drove out West, I could leave after an early breakfast and be there at dinner.time. Its best to do it on a weekend and start at night to get past all the traffic you don't have to hit around Baltimore, Washington and Richmond. I am a bit concerned about not being able to carry a spare tire as I really am not used to that. The other thing is that Tony probably has many chores to do for upkeep on the property and might not have very much spare time. I would like to be there during that car show that he always goes to is taking place. Perhaps we could go in the ///M. Its all up in the air for now. Frankie

11 U.S. States That Are Larger Than the UK
With a total area of almost 3.8 million square miles, the United States is approximately 40 times the size of the United Kingdom, which itself is comprised of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Of the fifty states, there are exactly eleven that are large enough to house—bearing in mind that we are taking liberties with shape and tectonics—the entire area of the United Kingdom at least once.
As you navigate the list for your state, please note that we are dealing with the
total area and not just that of the land. In other words, water territories, such as lakes and rivers, are included in both the given area of the United Kingdom and each state listed below.
EDIT: This article was edited after it was quite rightly pointed out that South Dakota was missing from the list of "remaining 39" states. This has now been amended.
