[RESOLVED] Image uploading problem under investigation

We still find it easier to use Photobucket (sharing site) as we can pop them on facebook as well at any time if we want to, Gazza

Could Bazza not try that meanwhile, at least he could upload some pics, while they are still relevant,

Mike & Sandy
That's what Bazza has done for now, and he's put a link to the album in the write up.

Photobucket and the likes are frustrating though when people reorganise their photos or delete them as it them ruins the thread when people try and read them. I noticed a few missing images in a thread the other day, where this has happened.

Hey Gaz this uploaded ok, a little slow but I put that down to our wifi at the villa. I really don't know how you find time to do any repairs on you car mate. I know everyone appreciates you time and commitment to the forum but it needs to be said now and again. Thank you very much!:beer

hey T-t, any 55-56 Pontiac converts in that yard. Have a 57 chev like that out back. Small block now but have a $10,000 in parts, BBC ready to go in with two 3-71 GM blowers and an edelbrock tunnel ram with two 4bbl thunder carbs and stainless long tube headers along with a tilt front end. JIM

Sorry Jim that was just a random photo from the Good guys show in Kissimmee 2 weeks ago. You might look into their website you might find buyers for some of your stuff.

Having this issue as well. Used to upload pics but get the exact same screen -"following error occured." Never had this problem before. Hopefully you can let me know what to do. Thanks in advance.

You may find that the file is too large try resizing the photo and try again. I have to do this on all my photos taken on my Nikon Camera

As Billz says, it usually fails if the original image it too big. From memory any image up to about 10mb should be ok. Above this and some manual processing is required before hand.

What is the size of the image you are trying upload? Is it from a high end camera?

I resize all my images off my Canon DSLR to a max long edge size of 2,000 pixels. I had frequent failures of large files. They were always JPEGs created from RAW files. However, images off my iPhone always load ok irrespective of the size. I wonder if the problem is down to JPEG files created in applications rather than directly in cameras?

I have taken the pictures down to 10% of original and still wont load. I've never had this problem before.

It sounds like something in the JPEG file that the interpolation engine that is being used to reduce the image size.
