Helmet is a yes!! Sorry not sure about the age for passengers When you call ask the question to Nat or Matt :thumbsup:

I'm pretty sure passengers need to be 16 or over, you might be best off ringing the organisers to check.

The regs have changed about helmets, you need a full face helmet if you drive an open top sports car (I found out the hard way and had to rent a helmet at Anglesey last year, grrrrrrrr). It doesn't need to be race compliant or any of that nonsense, if you haven't got one borrow it from some one that rides a motorcycle.

When we did it last time oct/Nov 2017 the helmets were open :thumbsup:
No third party organiser this is Silverstone running this one :p
 
Contemplating joining you all for this, if I can scrape in at the last moment!

For someone who hasn’t done this before, are there any other safety requirements beyond helmets? Insurance, documentation etc?

You can take part at your own risk or buy separate track insurance

I don't work in that department so best to call Nat or Matt for more information :thumbsup:
 
If space runs out I think a few of the other Zedders are booking extra sessions
I may do the novice one which is the second session after ours Session 8 of the day

Really surprised at this @BMBabe, everywhere I go they clamp down on open face helmets in convertibles even if you have a hard top on.
 
@BMBabe do they do skid lid hire?
