Request for Help Z3 1.9 needed....

Ok Folks,

As you will see from the screen shot below, I have been approached as a link to the members of this forum regarding the request from a media company to have a Z3 1.9 which must be stock and in great condition to be put up against a MX5. I have asked around and we have no idea who might have a stock Z3 1.9. If you do or you know of a good one can you please contact the guy below in the email so that he can have a chat with you. Please mention that you have come through via this forum too. Its a great opportunity to get your zed in the media and have some fun. This has come through via BMW HQ.

Hope someone can have some fun and enjoy themselves.

There is always one... Just had to be you this time Andy.

This is a good chance for a forum member to get their zed featured in a good auto magazine.

Anybody have any thoughts on a good 1.9 we might have seen ?

i give him a ring tomorrow.... mines a bit rough body wise though but pretty original.... i can put some original stuff back on easily if its wanted for a photo shoot....

Best example i can think of is Ztec Paul.

Come on people we need the best we have on here.. there must be a great Z3 1.9 that can be shown off against an mx5.

I have had correspondence with the editor & while he loves the colour of my car they want a more 'German looking' colour??? o_O

But he is happy to keep my details for the future (So that's alright!)

I feel decidedly underwhelmed!! :whistle:

What a strange response. I think that's a great colour to feature. And I suspect your car is very original given you've kept those wheels ;)

The self-destruct system, stinger missiles, ejector seat, radar scanner and parachute brake would give the Z3 an unfair advantage over the MX5.:whistle:Also, we rarely admit we have these accessories to those over 8 years old!;)

Fair point. But then why didn’t they ask for Atlanta Blue if that’s what they meant by ‘German’.

And what’s German anyway? BMW do plenty of weird colours these days. Which I love btw :)
