After 18 months the head gasket went.

So rather than thanking me for 18 months of trouble free motoring from a cheap car, he whinged about it to all my other friends.

Have sold cars to a friend before, but, I'd never sell a car to anyone I know unless they understand that there is no warranty and that unexpected stuff and expense can happen at any time. If they don't get that they don't get the car. As always - sold as seen.

Cars are money-pits. Just like houses, and kids, and..... I'll stop there!

Well that's it My Saab is sold. The guy has left a deposit and is collecting Next week. Time to start looking for the next one.
