I think the tank noise was mentioned already tony and the buzzing noise is more than likely one of the door or window rubbers, which I presume only happens when you are driving and at certain speeds??

An update since i had the car up on the ramp today
if you listen to this you will hear the clicking (among other noises)

The connector is the speed sensor for your speedo. The best way of doing this is to buy the bush already pressed in a new back plate, the are about £75 from the dealer.

Have the suspension dampers been mentioned?
A mechanic told me that a noise I have from the front is due to the struts inside the damper shaking and making a noise (as presumably some rubber part has come undone). No untoward affects just a noise (not that loud like yours but then the front suspension is far from the cabin..)
