#ZedShed Project Sasha - 2007 BMW 3.0si Sport Carbon Black

Bound to happen sooner or later Dave.;). Your old man's halfway there.=))

Tony.

The car looks superb body, interior, stance and wheels very nice choice Gaz individual but ticks all boxes for me

Yes but I still have your keys!

Back on topic you need to change the thread title now Gaz it's not carbon black anymore.
Fair point! I'll get on that later.

Owwww sooooo excited can't wait to see Sasha tomorrow now she has finished surgery

Totally different car and must be sunglasses only in the sunshine! I like it even if TO is a Z4 and I don't say that about many of them!! JIM

Almost forgot about this... Bought a Maxton Designs boot spoiler a month ago, but didn't fit it because I knew the wrap was happening. Got it wrapped the same colour as it was basic gloss black.

Not a fan of the Aero style as it messes the boot lines up, whereas this follows the lines perfectly :woot:.

One of the few boot spoilers I've seen that really looks like it belongs on the car. Not a big fan of spoilers personally but this looks natural!! JIM

The Ze4 is looking great Gaz - my compliments.

With change of colour comes new name ?

Dave

With change of colour comes new name ?
Thanks for the comments, no name changed planned at this time. Had her name for the last 18 months, so would seem strange to change it now!

Next up is to sort out my drivers headlight which I've struggled to seal since changing a bulb. The covers on the back of the lights are notorious, and a complete pain. Also the chrome effect coating inside the lens is starting to lift and looks awful, again a common issue. There is a replacement matching headlight on eBay right now but has the exact same issue with the coating. Also not a big fan of the chrome effect internals anyway.

For now a set of Sonar angel eye headlights have been acquired from 2excite, which I had delivered to the office yesterday. There is at least one other Z4 on here with them, and they have the black inners which will contrast they bitter yellow exterior.

I'm considering running a side project on my existing OEM headlights, splitting them, respraying the inners and fitting decent halos. It's not an easy process like the Z3 lights which you heat up and pull apart. These have to be cut using something like a dremmel. Not sure what I'm doing long term, just looking forward to a non-foggy set of head lights :)
