#ZedShed Project Jack Daw's 1997 1.9 Z3

Great team effort guys.

Nice recovery @GazHyde, just one of those freek accidents that happen no matter how careful you are and with the previous repair it likely would have happened again eventually. JIM

A quick update from the Zedshed.

The assembled front shock units before installation.

The finished mirror unit now back in place and the lollipop bushes had to be cut from the arms and the new units now safely installed.

Cutting those of is a real fun job isn't it?
Shame about the mirror Gaz, an honest accident which was waiting to happen unfortunately.
Keep up the good work lads.

Tony.

Never fun removing old wishbone bushes. It's so much easier to cut the old ones off. The guys did some really good in-house spraying on that mirror base. You cant tell the difference now. Also Paul and oldguyrule did a cracking job on the seats while I was under the car. It was all hands on deck last Saturday.

Tonight will be a test drive and shake down to make sure all is well. watch this space :)

Excellent work as always Jack really went the full hog made my few items replaced small fry.
But things have been replaced at a slow pace ever since I got mine when funds dictated I had a little set back last year with Cat Exhaust and battery drain issues.
But Lee says she's all good now he really knows his Zeds and I know Jack will be so happy with the sterling work the shed do to keep these old classics going.
I can at last start on a few cosmetic things I intended doing when I first bought my Zed
I think it's better to have it mechanically sorted first.
Keep up the excellent work .
Tracy.

How many cups of tea did you sup!

Sounds like another satisfied customer. Well done to all the Zed Shed crew.
Another Zed gets a new lease of life.

Good on you guys, always nice to get feedback from a happy owner.
