Try putting out a shout to the US forum members specifically and see if any of them can help. Nothing to lose.

Sorry for hijacking this ZedShed thread! If anyone does want to continue responding, there is a thread called "I hate drunk drivers" that relates specifically to my car.
Thank you all for trying to help!!

Soooo, the saga continues scary that this thread started in 2017, 2023 was a busy year so yet again the Imola got ignored, finally got the gauges working after sending the ECU of for repair, that was a relief I can tell you. 🤦‍♂️
So there isn't much left to do, one job though that never got finished was refurbing the rear calipers did a test paint of one without removing it but that was it, the fronts were exchange replaced for OEM refurbished ones mainly as back then I hadn't done many, done loads since ;) and as resealing and new pistons is literally a 5 minute job per caliper it was a no brainer, to be fair the piston and seals were fine but the cost to replace them is minimal and I didnt need to buy a set as @TaffDaddy gave me a set that he accidently bought by mistake, lucky me .

So the calipers looked awful so a clean up and paint job was necessary to match the immaculate fronts, that's a longer job, a day cleaning them up and painting then overnight waiting for the paint to harden, the back plates were in excellent condition but decided to give those a thorough clean a double coat of paint too.

So track rod change and then MOT and a long awaited drive, it's only been 6 years after all.=))

Some photos of before and after.

So is 2024 the year for the big reveal then? :poke:
Yep, just the liners and trays to go on then to the garage for tracking and headlight setup before the MOT. I think a run down to Basingstoke B&Q for a breakfast bap will be the first run.

You know you can't rush these things, and to be fair all the hard work that's gone into her by everyone and it's all still shiny think how dirty it would all be if I have actually driven her.

Slow and steady does do it eventually not that I can talk. @Nodzed where did you get the ECU repaired?
They were easy to deal with and kept me in the loop. I would recommend after 2 other companies said it was unfixable.
