Write Up Picturesque Derbyshire - 24th April 2016

Hats off to @Mac Romans and @Twin Turbo for organising a quality day. Most enjoyable to meet some new faces as well as the old faces. Nice one @Bozzy in taking the helm to lead the group round. :thumbsup:
Got back at 19:40, she purred like a cat all weekend, though I have to report that there were many unauthorised cars in the BMW lane on all the motorways :mad:
 
Thanks to Mac and Q for organising a great day.
It was only the second meet we had managed to get to, and the only one we had the chance to drive due to battery issues last year. Had a great day, had to bail just before Chatsworth as go juice was a bit low and dare not risk it.
Was lucky enough to come second in the show and shine, which was unexpected.(the first one I had entered)
At least the weather held out most of the drive.
The only downer was that we turned off before we could teach the RX8 a lesson.....lol. those around me on the stage 1 will know who I mean....:coolsteer)

So thanks for a great day, will probably the only one I will get to due to work commitments, which is a shame, But might see some of you around. Nice to meet some new friends..

Also many thanks to @Mint and @Grumpy for coaching me through my first go at leading a group,apologies if we lost any one and I hope you all enjoyed the day.....i certainly did :).
Good to see everyone again....even a surprise appearance from @BMBabe and @Mnbrennan ,very good to see you both :D.

Thanks to Mac and Twin Turbo for a most enjoyable cruise around some of the nicest parts of Derbyshire. Done 320mls round trip but only had to drive half with my son Lee doing his best not to scare me with my new suspension fitted and the car handling so much better.Great to meet some familiar faces and hope to see you all again soon. Only a couple of pics to put up, one showing a EType who got tangled up with Macs group for a couple of miles and one of the front four of the group. The rest even the Daily Mirror wouldn't print.
