Thank you to everyone who made Sarah and myself feel welcome today, we really enjoyed the meet and it was obvious a lot of effort had gone into a fabulous day, Q and Mac should take a bow, Well done gents, now get the next one sorted lol.

Crashed it mate?
No mate, developed mechanical issues and had to bail out at the end of the first stage.
Well to be fair, while the judges were looking under my bonnet for the show and shine one noticed my cooling fan was missing several fins. After asking a few members it was advised not to push it in case it went completely so left early. Disappointed but what can you do. :grumpy:

P1020097.JPG

All parked up at the start point a very nice setting a bit more up market than the usual McD
P1020099.JPG

The quick group on there way
P1020103.JPG

Carsington water , the invasions of the Z's outnumbered the many other car clubs in attendance
P1020104.JPG

Show and shine, shame the weather couldn't behave itself as a lot of work had gone into these beauties
P1020109.JPG

Lots of Z's parked up at Chatsworth, but no sign of the "Quick group"

Another great day with the Z community, very well done to all involved in the organising. First class event

b*****.....:(
Yep, gutted, the day was going well but when it was noticed we were only 45 mins from home so it was for the best. Lost another fin about 3 miles from home so isn't going to hang in there much longer.

Well I'll put my bit in as always. Putting my issues aside, big pat in the back to @Mac Romans and @Twin Turbo, obviously you've both put a lot of time and effort into today, good effort and thanks. It's very hard to make these days work and run smoothly. Lovely to see the long distance guys, @Andy McDonnell, @Jack Ratt fair play to you both, it's a good way for both of you before the day even starts. Nice to see the regulars again and my mateys! We even had a young man in a 1.9 join our group for 20 minutes or so early on. He may join the forum.
Not many pics today but here's what mainly Jue managed before our early depart.

A big congratulation to Macromans and Twinturbo on their virgin cruise, No excuses now for not holding more =))
I have to admit the fast group certainly lived upto the name. I knew Qs 28i was going to be quick but my god its like lightening, i really struggled to keep up on the roads he knew but managed to hold my own on the roads he did not know.
A cracking days driving the cars for what they were built for. Will post some vids up when i get the chance.
