I am thinking that there maybe too many of us to try and book in anywhere, So what i am proposing is if the weather is good then we find a location for all to park up and maybe just have everyone bring there own Lunch or we can use the stops for everyone to grab a bite.
What are peoples thoughts on either
1. pick nick style (bring your own)
2. Eat when we do a stop
3. Try and book somewhere to accommodate around 50 folk

Stopping point with food outlet would cover 2 out of 3 bring your own (Picnic) and Take away. But happy with any.

Looks like you had better put us in Group 2 or 3. Don't mind following Paul or Dave .
Cheers,
Ken.
Added you to Pauls Group

I know all the locations you have mentioned also a few stops i am planning do coffee and can grab a bite to eat like pasties and pastries.
I think a booked meal will be out of the question due to the amount attending and the time it would take. I think it would be more beneficial if we just did a stop where we can mingle with everyone

The stops so far are all coffee stops and we can always grab a bite to eat.
At the moment there is Speedwell Cavern Cafe, Longnor Tea Rooms and Wetton Tea Rooms they can get busy though.

Hi Bill, still hoping we will be up for this run mate. Stick us in with Mint and Grumps please. We're defo ok for picnic style eating. Thank you.

Tony.

MidlifeZ (Simon) has sold his car. He's thinking of buying a Z3 in springtime but for now you'd probably best assume he'd be a passenger for this event.

As for food...my vote goes to picnic as it's very easy and social.

On our event in April when I contacted Chatsworth house they said with a little more notice they'd have allowed us to park along the access road between the house and the river. Hell of a photo opportunity and a great spot for a picnic....

We know from our cruise last year how the eating venue can ruin the day. We had 50 odd people and they couldn't cope, it took them that long most people left before we did the last section of the run. Think I'd be tempted to go with a KFC/McDonalds or picnic type event. Be much easier and less stress on the organisers. Just my thoughts of course.

To be honest Dave that is my thoughts, but i also know some people will prefer to bring there own. Having a sit down meal for 50+ folk is out of the question as we would need to allow at least 2 hours for it.

Just added picnic to my post Bill. May well be best, especially for me as Tony and Shirl bring me posh stuff like pickles and pork pie lol!!! :D

Group 2
Will be steady, may lose one or two on the bends but you'll catch me on the straights
