That beats the hell out of driving around the Netherlands.....![]()
Spent a few hours in Jail on the Belgium Border was heading for Breda on the E 19 had tipped in Brecht Belgium, as I got to the border I had lights and alarms flashing, I didn't know but the trailer I was pulling was 4.2 and a restriction was in place for vehicles only up to 4.0, escorted off the motorway to a parking area, and they demanded an 800 Euro fine, which I refused to pay so off to the local lock up until my gaffer paid the fine. Took him 8 hours to do so though never even had a cup of tea.
Flat Flat Flat...
That's the sound of your tyre's on the Dutch concrete motorways![]()
I'm surprised they didn't offer you a beer or two!! JIM
I agree Mike but we chose the smaller roads and only used the motorways and autobahn if we wanted to make time. It's a lovely country which is simply so totally different to the others in Europe and has a charm not found anywhere else because of that fact, JIMThey don't have those over here....
And no pot holes in sight.
But its still bloody boring driving on the motorways, as it is in Germany.
LMAO Mike!! More please!
