Z4 coupe sport.
Don’t look bad at all underneath and looks like a good starting point. Must be getting near the grand mark on bits so far, maybe even more with the upholstery. Getting itchy feet hear with some funds saved over the last 3months.
Looking to change the interior to finally put my mark on the coupe. Looks like Trevor will have a real nice Z3 before the end of summer. Well done so far, you never cease to amaze me with the work load.

stay safe down there all you good looking southern boys.=))

That’s a very clean and crust free undercarriage- is it a low miles / garaged car?

Right. Everything’s back from powder coating. We even removed the bearings so everything can be cleaned.

While all of this is going on here’s a sneak peak of what else is happening in the background.

Now onto the powder coated items. Everything we took off the Zed was is pretty good shape so it’s no surprise to see they now look like new. We’ve now got an agreement in place going forward so we have an option to fully powdercoat every Zed that passes through the shed.

The spare subframe had quite a bit of surface rust and that still came up really well, only showing some small spots of pitting.

Reassembly will begin in the next few days after my track day at brands. She’s going to look lovely assembled.

You should do this full time mate, punters would be queuing round the block.

Like the speedster cover. Was looking at getting one from the States. What’s your opinion of it in the flesh?

I personally like the look of them. The bumps could do with being higher. Swatch this space :D
From what I’ve seen these are the version for cars with roll hoops. There’s another version for ones without roll hoops which are higher
