After Zorgee's stressful journey to the US of A we decided some R&R was needed.

"Here's a little job!" my old boss used to say, well, as a rental home owner there is always a little job, . . . . . or 10.
Change water filter in the fridge,
thankfully easy enough to get to and you don't need to turn the water supply off (like our Samsung one at home). Run off 15 gallons!!
Next was remote control battery replacement,
Quite a few as you can see,
5 bedrooms with TV and satellite box and lounge, 2 master bedrooms have remote controlled ceiling fans.
Eleven smoke detectors around the house too.
This "wall art" acquired some lights last Christmas time so it needed 4 x AAs too.
One bulb out over the dining table, so 5 new ones fitted. If one has gone the others won't be far behind.
Then there's this!
For use out in 94 deg.
To rake off these coloured cobbles, lay some membrane, rinse stones and replace. Looking forwards to that.

There have been some strange cloud formations these last few days due to thunderstorms late in the day. Also weird lighting s the sun has been setting.

Today's lunch was at BJ's Brewhouse at the "LOOP". A mini 6" 5 meat pizza, well 3/4 of it.

Yesterday, for the 1st time in 9-10 years we hax to open the garage door.
The blue pool noodles had been used as a draught excluder along the bottom of the door, replacements were $1.25 each from Dollar Tree. Reason we had to lift the door was to get these delivered and installed into Shirl's Office.
Nice new noodles fitted and door relocked for another 10 years, we hope.

Finally finished the rock garden near the front porch this morning.
Next job is collecting around 40 bags of bark chips for the rest of the garden from our local Lowes store.
The pile is getting smaller.
And finally all the stone is back in place on top of the membrane I laid yesterday.

Today finds is at MCO waiting on Virgin flight VS 073 from Manc. bringing Abz, Andy and the Grandsons. They don't know we'll be waiting as they get off the tram at the main terminal. Time for a coffee before they land.

We took the family for a n Air Boat tour at Boggy Creek Adventures this morning. First time for Andy and the Grandsons. A gorgeous morning, not a cloud in the sky when we got to Southport.
We picked up a hitch-hiker on the way.
