No Tax Disc

Can you believe it .......
Only seen one other car today with-out the tax disc ;)

Mine have been gone for 6 months on the Z3 and two months on the T5, still don't miss them.

I've been waiting for the M.o.t. System to crash all day, never happened!

I'll get Badboy to send a carrier pigeon with all the info Bonzo, only don't eat it this time. You Norfolk folk still hanging washing on the wires?:ymdevil:=))=))

What's with this "tax disc" thing?
They had to purchase road tax discs which were placed in the lower left side windshield. The holders came in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. The concept has now been retired, I believe so people are now trying to decide what to do with the old holders. I have been offered a couple of owl shaped ones and am considering starting a collection for my shop. I'm sure there are some that are rare and valuable. JIM

I may be wrong Frankie, but I think it's like your "tag" which entitles you to drive your car on the roads?

I think this could start a new trend with classic car owners who are still in possession of the first ever tax disk from the first year of their cars manufacture as they can now wear it like a badge of honour legally. After all it's ow just a window sticker.
Question is do you still have yours. And if so would you display it...

No, No, and it's not. You need sellotape.:ymdevil::ymdevil:
