The M badge is gone! No more threats from the M-police for me!!!

As I don't have the 3.0SI badges on the wings I'm wondering if I should stay completely de-badged?

That reminds me, I must order a set of ///M stickers for my MV3's. Taken off when powder coated and it's how she came so original to me. Is this an ///M police offence?:nailbiting:

The M police will be watching you Andy. There every where.

Did it come off easy Ian? Just some gentle heat?:)

Tony.

Yes - fairly easily. Hairdryer to heat it then a wide panel removed tool levered against a credit card. Bit more heat in the gap and gently eased it off. Didn't have a brake cleaner but used some lubricant for the clay bar and that eased the remaining glue and foam off.

My garage now supports an M badge.

Well done mate
All is in order now so nothing to see here =)) but sounds like the attention has turned on to @Andy McDonnell =))

Anyway who started the "///M Police" ??

That phrase has been kicking around for as long as I can remember... Pre dates this forum by many many years!

I did wonder what you were doing with my hair dryer....because you don't have enough hair to dry!!! :ymdevil:

Dental floss or fishing line is kinder to the body work, you warm the sticky stuff and then saw through it.
Never thought of that.

Both bonnet and boot roundals need changing. I'll remember that.

Trying to stay away from the No1 buzz cut for as long as possible.

The bonnet and boot roundels have 2 locating pins Ian so you'll need your "prying" tool again to change them.

No point wasting badges, they usually end up on one of my tool boxes!

Braided fishing line would do it as it's the same consistency as dental floss. Mono-filament nylon line would be useless as the heat generated by a sawing motion would cause it to break easily.;)
