Thanks! I don't like the wheels so they will be changing at some point. Does anyone know if the F30 M Sport wheels fit as I can get a set for pretty cheap.

No, little Giles was finally sold yesterday. Sad to see him go but I just didn't use him and I was loosing my garage due to a house move and I couldn't bring myself to leave him outside.

Well to resurrect an old thread, I actually bought a Z4 today, a little upgrade from the planned Z3. Loving it so far!
Hi @Lytesben, happy to see you finally got your Z, be it a 3 or a 4 a Z is a Z. I love my Z4 and have bonded with entirely, hope you enjoy yours. Which engine size did you get?

Tony.

Glad you found one you are happy with. Are you planning on any other mods. Also are you planning on getting the following done Gaptec roof module or relocating the roof motor ?

Thanks. Not really sure yet about mods.

What's the gaptec roof module? The roof motor has already been replaced and the seller told me it has been replaced by a sealed unit so not sure if it needs relocating now.

That does look pretty useful. Is it that expensive and is it easy to fit?
Hi, yes it's relatively easy to fit if you're ok with a bit of soldering (5 wires). I removed the ashtray and switch panel to find the wires which needed tapping into. DON'T use the "scotch-lock" type of connectors they supply, you will only have problems.

More info here, http://www.gap-tech.co.uk/ including prices etc.

Brilliant piece of kit that always attracts admiring glances.

Tony.

You might have noticed the rear lights are no longer standard Z4 issue too (2 reversing lights). I have done quite a bit to my car in the last 18 months or so. Have a look at my progress thread in "My Z4 ...... My way.
