New Topgear.

The main show needs a lot of work for me to get back into it. The extra show on BBC3 was a lot more interesting and I would rather have had more of that format than the imitation of Clarkson in the main programme. I will keep watching it but not with the same enthusiasm I had for the programme previously. Let's see what the CHM offering on Amazon Prime is like.

So apart from the roads, what on earth have the Romans ever done for us...?
...the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health.....

=))=))=))

Underfloor heating, canal navigation and properly organised orgies!=))

Tony.

And the People Popular Front of Judea ....

Sounds an excellent idea. I am struggling to give the show a chance. After all the hype it is getting more disappointing after the second episode to the point that I was happy to walk to the kitchen for a drink without pausing it while they did the ridiculous cocktail in a 4x4 challenge. They need to come up with something new soon or I suspect more people will abandon the show.

I have to say, on reflection, notwithstanding the ridiculous cocktail challenge, they then seemed to miss the point of the challenges completely; which of the 3 test cars was best. For me TG under JC & co had long since stopped being a serious car review show and become a family entertainment show but at least from time to time you got some opinions on the vehices in question. Now we don't even get that. Disappointed.

Totally on the money there Chris.

I see Antiques Road Show attracted more viewers than Top Gear
I have not watched any more since my first 24 minutes of watching absolute sh-t and wont be tuning in again.

I watched the antiques roadshow
Never know the crap i hoard maybe worth something =))

Well, I'll hold my hand up and say I watched it. I had to, to see if my 5 out of 10 for the first show would change. It did, I'm now thinking 3 out of 10. The first segment was just the GT imitating JC! What the f*** is the point in that, he needs to be himself to stand any chance of winning people over.

Tony.

Thanks for the review on show 2. You've saved me the time and waste of energy myself :D
Entirely as I expected sadly.

I hope the BBC don't wait until show 3 goes out before changing something. Considering the mega zillions that CE earns and the months of planning so far I hope someone has the nouse to put him right and get some changes in soon.
