New Topgear.

We live close to the intersection of the Fosse Way and Watling Street. Can we get a two for one deal?
I'm only 400 yards from the Fosse Dyke which they built and was on Tillbridge Lane and Ermine Street this afternoon, both Roman roads They did ok.

Tony.

we don't want to wait for Rome to do our roads, Italy is almost bankrupt and as we are bottom of the queue in th EU, it wouldn't be allowed anyway.

with the roads around here, i'd seriously consider the Atom Nomad though.

you shudda watched Top Gear!

me or CE?

Just to clarify, I like JC, he is non PC, this world is going PC insane.

Agreed mate, but it's not going, it's GONE.:(

Tony.

Aw, you noticed!! How nice of you. Must have been a moment of weakness or it's time for my meds. I haven't been well lately may be that or ?? Just went to see your post and can't figure except I liked JC but take it for what it is! JIM

Not true, I like Marmite.

Mike I like Marmite but I don't like CE and the format, is it a car show TG has changed over the years it used to be about cars now it's
more about the presenter's? (Marmite Cheese & Onion sandwich)now we are talking:)

Yes that Atom Nomad looked like fun.. a lot of fun.. As for the presenters.. I am only watching it for Sabine... I just love her humour... The rest.. well trying too hard to be like the old show.. and I admit it.. JC's non pc was worth it...

So finally watched it. I've kept an open mind as there are no other big budget shows with cars and adventures about.
The content is as good usual with the cars and locations. The Blackpool trip was actually better than the deadly boring run that they previously did ins some random diesel saloon.
Although they can just not bother with Blackpool at all really. Hateful place with even kit hateful people was my experience.
Anyway I digress.

CE was super excited and keen to impress, good on him for caring enough. MLB is what he is nice enough guy.

It'll take a while for chemistry to build, just see early TG episodes to see how long it takes.

I thought the departure of JC would see the end of bad language for what is a show yo enjoyed with kids. Unfortunately not.

Overall glad we have a big budget show again on tv about cars and hope the JC and the boys can raise the fianance to make a good show too the we have two big budget shows (and yes I watch 5th gear buts it's so flat).

Funny opinions from the kids though- my 7yr old refuses yow watch a top gear that doesn't have JC, May and Hammond (but he likes vipers so said he watch that but).
My 3yr old looked and said were is Hummund and the other guy. Then decided after 5mins it's not good an I should put it off.
Resistance to change starts young!

I did not think it was a bad first show, I quite enjoyed it, so what its no longer the fab trio, give it time and it should get better as we become accustomed to the new presenters
