Hi
I am Alan and live near Edinburgh in Scotland and as you can probably tell I am a big fan of MG. (all my Z3 pics are apparently too large to make an avatar and I've no idea how to sort that)
However, having absolutely hated the ugly Z3 when it was released I found myself becoming strangely attracted to them a couple of years ago. As it happened my friend's dad picked one up around that time and let me have a drive which finally persuaded me to buy one. I found a nice silver 2.8 locally but it was written off after a few months due to a very minor bump. The insurance were very generous so I set out to find another. It had to be a pre facelift 2.8 again, I found one that seemed a good buy; £3200 with 67k miles, including a hardtop and in very nice condition. in Atlanta Blue (I had wanted any colour but that but hey-ho I like it now). I have covered a few thousand miles now and it recently passed it's MOT with little trouble. I'am enjoying it even though it's a bit of a barge but at least with the recent drop in fuel prices I can even afford to run it a little! I am fortunate in that it isn't a daily driver as I don't think it's really suited to that.
I do have a few issues with leaking boot etc developing so I will have to seek your advice on those.
